Well it's MMD so clipping is pretty much an everyday scenery. The best thing to do is to ignore those completely. I gave up trying to make perfect no clip animations since it only causes more headaches
Yeah camera lol, it's the oldest yet still useful trick ever. I don't really like editing models simply because my brain can't seem to register Japanese characters. I'm even having a hard time memorizing hiragana
Oh for MME though, the reason why I don't use on any of my animations is because my toaster only has pixel shader 2.0, MME requires 3.0
As for MME, it would be great if you find a way to able to use some of the more simple effects such as making the skull head thingy burn with green fire, making an aura appeared around your characters and blade clashing trail effects.
Not that I am saying anything, but the lack of MME may lower the quality a lot. Ya know all the flashy stuff. Also this can help you cover up some movement you will spend on animating some movement.
Otherwise, it would purely caused one head to explode cause she/he needed to concentrated making a lot of complex movement. Though something like this can also be achieved if you are really really good enough and have experience in it with the movement of swinging or making the movement.
Oh, I don't feel like using MME if it's too limited. So I guess I'll try to focus more on the animating part since that's more of my specialty, though I can't really say for sure since I'm not really used to quick movements so I might need more practice. That's a really cool video though, I think that's also by the one who animated one of the MMD cup 10 fighting animations and the best part is that it's actual fighting movements rather than jumping around like in most anime battles
